LDC CoreTools is an online professional development and curriculum design platform that enables teachers to improve student literacy through rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum design, and online professional development. It also enables administrators to drive progress at the district level through analytics.
I was the sole UX/UI designer and researcher at LDC. I worked with a team of 9 educators and 6 developers and helped bring product and user-centered design thinking to the product lifecycle. I was responsible for user research and testing, concept and workflow ideation, UX, Axure prototyping, UI design, spec creation, and hand-off to development. I also spent time exploring and prioritizing features, developing design roadmaps, creating user stories, and completing competitive audits.
